Do u believe in fortune tellers?

decided to ask this out of curiosity.

as much as people say the predictions of fortune tellers come true because, for example, the fortune teller tells u you're gonna be sick, then u worry so much until u get sick.

but actually i've come across a few situations in which i've come to believe that they actually have the ability to predict the future.

there was for example, a fortune teller who accurately predicted my mum's entire life correctly and she made a few predictions for me as well, some of which were true.

and a few days ago my dad told me about one of his friends (a fortune teller) who predicted two things 20-30 years ago. firstly, the fall of the russian empire (which happened, but no one believed could happen at that time) and more disturbingly, he also predicted with detail how world war III would come about. he said it would start with the arab countries (reminds me of the arab spring and all the violence), the fall of america (it's happening) and that america would invade china. he also predicted that the fall of america would lead to the rise of a very powerful european man who would be more evil than hitler...

yeah i'm kinda VERY disturbed this .
what do u guys think? do u think they hv the ability to predict the future?

Re: Do u believe in fortune tellers?

Best way is not to go to them so there won't be chances of you hearing thing that might probably get you worried? =) By the way, they may be able to predict what's gonna happen next but it won't affect us one bit if we don't go and listen for it =)

I believe that we are in control of our own lives. No one else can predict it for us.

Fortune teller could only predict future by looking at face, palm, or finding out from lunar birthday and birthtime... Because our appearance already tells our fate, but we are just do not know how to find out from it, that is why we need a fortune teller to find out for us.

Every single of us borned with different fate. The fate itself is just like a scenario, but we are the one who gonna do something in the scenario to change our life better.

If a person is already fated to fail his career for 3 time in his entire life. Then the 3 time of failure is a MUST to happen. Whatever he do, he still cannot avoid the 3 time of failure in his life.

However, if he willing to take his 4th try, he will be able to break through his fate and success his career in the 4th try.

On other word, fate is just like a karma dept; it is an outcome of previous life.

Therefore, fate was created by own. Not by the heaven.

Very interesting site !

Don't know whether to hope the future prophecies will hapen within my lifetime.

What would it be like in a world with nuclear war(WWIII)?

Afterall the nuclear arms should be put to good use before its harm realised and its use stopped

Re: Do u believe in fortune tellers?

Actually I find that most fortune tellers are more accurate in predicting disasters than wealth.
They seldom go wrong when they say that someone will be jobless at a certain age, or experience a death in a family a few years later.
But when they want to predict lottery or windfall, the predictions always disappoint.

Will the start of the war be at the end of this year?

maybe the 'end of the world' would be symbolically the end of world peace.

Only tried fortune tellers for fun. Furthermore, the fortuneteller in your experience sounds more like he is exaggerating beyond belief.
