Different kind of people has different ways of breaking up. For me, I always prefer silent breakup when he rrly upset me.
I have this 2 years plus r/s with this guy. Just a few days back, we quarrelled as he gave me an irritated tone for nothing I've done. This isn't the first time when he kinda give me this kind of attitude. He felt irritated everytime he was feeling hot (hot weather) or tired. Then he would say smth like, "Hurry up! I must find a place to cool down!" with a bad attitude towards me.
To me, this kind of attitude is completely unacceptable as I didn't do anything that cause the stupid hot weather and make him sweaty!
After which, he didn't apologise to me at all. Seeing his face like this for the next hour, I couldn't stand it anymore and I walked to take a breath while we were having dinner.
Unexpectedly, he went to take the train home without telling me and abandoned me at Bugis alone.
After this incident, all my trust and security towards him has totally drained. I wasn't the kind of person who easily trust and rely on a person. Furthermore, I'm the kind who severely lack of security.
Now, I start to be very caution towards him and couldn't trust him anymore. How can I continue to have a r/s like this? When security and trust has gone...

he sounds like a MCP to me.
he went home without saying and abandoned you alone, his action spoke it all.
have you tried talking to him about your r/s?
i feel that he deserves to be dumped, but then again, have a nice talk with him before your decision.
and you started to be very cautious towards him and you have no trust in him anymore, how to carry on in a r/s like this?
you sounded like as if he's your rival in business.

Sounds like a reasonable excuse to break up. He isn't treating you well, and I doubt it will get any better.

see what he does.
if he comes back for you,
talk to him about his attitude and give him another chance.
if he doesn't,
then let go.

so sad. Since he abandon u at Bugis, time for u to think if u really wana continue this r/s?Cos this will definitely happen again. Not to forget his bad attitude. But did u speak to him about it? I am not the kind who would easily break-up with someone but i do suggest u give it a clean break instead of silent break as it is being fair to the other party as he do own the right to know tat u wan a break-up. Never leave anyone hanging.
