i noticed pple in simlim sq very rude and crude.
though there are customers inside the shop, they still shout or use vulgarities .
really very rude.
esp the one @ 2nd floor.

i'm wondering why did they behave like ... hooligan?
really gives tourists bad impression.

it oso appear in the strait times. i think ytd or wed paper. the complaints are increasingly high in sim lim. they oso did mention ur case. using the stool as weapon.

1st or 2nd floor shops usually have bad rep or they over-charge their stuff...
The upstairs are much better but still have to be careful too.

I usually go for some smaller shops. And sometime can get nice bargain and good deals there.

you're unlucky man. one of my friend also kenna beaten up. but his one was inside the shop itself. cos my friend did not want to pay for the consultation fee for the computer because in either way they did not manage to fix the computer. so why would my friend need to pay for it ? some more consultation fee $80. a scam huh ?

i suggest one day one team of us go SIm Lim tgt~ den one or 2 guy pretend go in one of those 'notorious' shop and pretend to buy some PSP or something, eventually the idea is to be a fussy customer and agitate those hoodlums. Wait till their 'pattern' come out le quicky the duo get out and signal us (who have been hiding in a corner), den we can mob them good~
Anyway, the idea mentioned above are for reference only and not to be taken too seriously due to excessive beng-ness contents. However sometimes, fire must be fought with fire. Thats how the word "Counter-fire" comes by~

NEXT TIME no matter what DO NOT PAY FIRST! I never paid for stuff that I am not holding on to when I was there.. never once..
The only shop i trust the most is one of the shop at lvl5 i think that sell mostly gaming stuff and cybermind the rest are.........
