i think she just wants the shih tzu to be adopted... so try to brush over the problems. shouldn't la but they really got alot of animals. I dun like SPCA's attitude also too. Called a couple of times when I was younger and I saw this kitten - something was wrong with one of its eyes, like going blind/injured. When I called right, the woman very rudely told me that their van was out so they cannot help. Then later I called back, I said if I bring it over to them directly would they help. She said ok.
I still remember, it was a Saturday morning. Then my brother and I begged my mum to drive over to SPCA. When we reached there right, the gated was closed. I pressed the buzzer many times but no one came out and gate didn't open. THEN, THE MOST ANGRY THING. I SAW SOMEONE MOVING AROUND IN THE OFFICE LOR. Can see the shadow of the person walking around. Then i stand outside the gate, call the office number again. No one answer. Very pissed off. In the end my mum got tired of waiting then I had to leave the kitten and the cardboard box at the gate there - tried to push it under as much as I could. Very sad but that was all I could do - the eye really looked infected.
Even if I wan to volunteer I won't go to them.
