after watching the show on tv )the buffet show), my friend and i went all the way to paya lebar to try the buffet.

when we reached there, we found out that the buffet timing had been shorten from 10-2pm to 10-12noon. SIGH.

we missed the buffet so we ordered some waffle takeaway. we were stood there for quite a while and the shop tenders just simply ignored us. we had to like shout for them. when we were placing our orders haflwa through, the person walked away to get the cooked waffle for previous customers, without giving us ANY notice. she just walked away =.=
AND THE WORST IS THAT AFTER GETTING THE COOKED WAFFLE, SHE WENT TO DRINK HER CUP OF SOFT DRINKS! after that she stood at her table and counted something inside a plastic bag. it was like after 10mins den she came back to us. super super super bad service! >=(

and when we got our waffle, the fillings were not visible from outside of the waffles at all. the amount was like super pathetic lor. TV de is like almost pouring out like that, and one of the food tester still said the choco fillings is too little in the show. and in reality, the fillings are pathetic in amount. zzz

super pissed with this encounter! >=( bad service + bad food!

haha...in TV mah..must act until service very good,very big portion to attract people to go and eat...but outside TV,who cares...when we go there and get some crappy service,who can we turn to?complain to mediacorp?the services they comment on is when the day they filming,not on the overall daily basis..so after the filming,they don't know how the service will be like...

but anyway..thanks for informing us about it..i nearly went there to eat...

most of the time it is like that, delicacies being broadcasted on TV doesn't mean they're worth it all the time

i wanted to go try but i didnt know where is it xD
they pay to advertise their shop so need put up a good front,
the critics wont criticise the food even if it is bad.

TS is right that shop service is really quite bad...guess they need to do some 'spring cleaning' among the staff in order to improve their service. As for the filling i think its ok la of course they have to 'wayang' in TV show ma. I kindda like their D24 durian waffle but sad onli can order one during e buffet.

went there a few days ago,i must say its really packed but service wise is still not too bad
i love the white chocolate pistachio waffle, oreoe cheese and nacho cheese　the cheese taste like those cinema's nachos. yummy.

anyways i wouldn't advise you to add the 3dollar for extra noodles, because after eating the noodle, your stomach is probably already pretty full, and you won't be able to stuff much waffle in...

lol i wanted to try until i see your thread, i hate bad service & i condemn restaurant with bad service. they shouldnt even exist.

the durian waffles is nice.. however if u intend to take away. my advise is to try some for yourself before u leave the shop. my bad experience was to get a sour durian waffles.. yuck. think i will think twice before ordering.. agreed with the small pathetic filling..

oh ya i think there is no more buffet liao , that time i went for a second round, and saw the poster.
i cant rmb is until 1jan or 1st feb

wah kao...u ppl still cant tell from advertising n real life?...u ppl really expect the food to b as good as in the pics in menu or tv?...so i guesss u expect ppl to be all beautiful in real life like in the movies n tv... lol
