Wanted: Sport climbing / Rock climbing Partner

Greetings forum folks!

I'm looking for a climbing partner or a regular climbing group! I live in the west, so I'd prefer to climb at Climbers' Lab (about 15 minutes on foot from the Jurong East MRT station).

Also, it'd be great if you are able to climb on weekdays.

I am under 50kg and I've got Level 1 & 2 certification. However, I haven't been climbing much over the past 1.5 years so I'm pretty much at beginner level now.

Anyone who has some climbing experience and is able to belay will fit the bill! Do drop me a note!

Haha interested in starting rock climbing but i haven't tried it before. If you dun mind a newbie, can i sign up for it? urm weight wise im abt 50.

But first thing first, you need to know how to belay or i will never have a chance to climb haha. I can teach you for free if you are interested. How? up for it?

No need to sign up. Just ji tao climb. But first thing first you need to learn how to belay so at least if you go with people they got a chance to climb because no belayer= climber cannot climb. Haha how interested?

Should be able to belay you. Used to climb with people who're heavier than me. Prob'ly need a crash course as I haven't belayed for over 2 years after I switched to bouldering as I didn't have a climbing partner. Let me know if you want to set up something.

hey all, you guys should try climbing at climb asia. it's normally quite crowded, and many people are willing to belay you or climb with you.

CA has some really good routes for both bouldering and high-wall now. I've tried quite most, and the ones on the incline are quite challenging.

I undergo belay school before, am interested to tag along

... if i want to climb i believe we need one more as a anchor man as im really heavy =/

I believe my brute strength is more than enough to belay you. Haha no la, I've seen before a 45kg girl belaying her 80kg bf with ease. In conclusion, I dun see a need to use an anchorman unless you weighs a ton which is impossible

Anyway when are you normally free to climb? Weekend/Weekdays? I think I want to organise a climbing session.

Ic, just suggesting if needed, weigh around 70+kg .. Normally weekday/weekend is not much of a problem (i can adjust this) , yeah should organise .. i would really want to learn more in this area ...

i hve no cert bt done both climber and belayer b4 and have own equipment. but only able to do it on weekends as am wrking.

hi! are you all still doing this climbing sessions?
where/when do you all normally climb?

just an average climber here, have basic climbing gear, able to belay and weigh ~65kg
most likely i'll only be able to make it on the weekend

hoping that you all are doing outdoor climbing =D

Hi.. i am a handicap sportman born without a left leg and using sport Prosthetic leg. Currently i am doing my traning in the evening as throwers and running at CCAB. I wanted to climb as those American Disability sportman do. i have good and strong arm and leg. Will any instructor or lesson will be taught to a person like me?
