Re: wearing figure hugging dresses-pros & cons

Definitely! It's to define the shape of your body. Every man, even women, loves those curves.

But obviously not everyone is suitable for that... It's sexy. But if you don't have the shape, it might have the opposite reaction from what you're looking for.

I myself am not very curvy. I love figure-hugging dresses, but my body is structured in the way of a 'V'-shape. Not the hour-glass figure I dream of. What's more, I'm not very thin! I have those unwanted tummy & arm flabs. Very unsightly.

But I've read many motivational quotes & what-not; e.g, "Confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can wear." It makes me feel less self-conscious of my body.

*****
And I personally feel that people that are extremely thin shouldn't wear such clothes. It makes them look even thinner than they already are; as though they are very sick.

Re: wearing figure hugging dresses-pros & cons

imo, its a no-no if you're gonna eat a buffet spread or some 8-course meal.
you'll end up feeling bloated and the "Figure" will appear more obvious if you get what i mean

I think figure-hugging clothes restrict one's movement; I know guys love it but I don't think its very practical. depends on what you are doing though

Re: wearing figure hugging dresses-pros & cons

if u have it, flaunt it.
so if u have the figure, go for it.

but it has to be at a right occasion n time. i mean u can't wear it going to the market rite? hehee
disadvantages are u have lots of people especially men staring at u, women glaring at u cos of envy.
hmm...yah, basically u r gaining attention so have to bear with that.

Re: wearing figure hugging dresses-pros & cons

I am very envious of girls who are very lanky and can carry off such figure hugging dresses very well. I am a pear shape and will NEVER wear very tight skirt cus it enhances my big butt. :c But I would say go for it if you have the right figure- skinny or hour glass.

But I have seen girls who squeeze out their layers of fats when they wear very tight dress. Very unsightly! Like trying too hard to look good and end up showing their worse flaws. I guess at the end of the day, it is not just about what you wear but understanding your own body shape and make the best out of it.

There are actually soem good and bad points, like the good are it sometimes accentuates your curve but the bad is that it might not be suitable for buffet meal..

its perfectly fine if u have e figure to go with it, however no matter how good your figure is, i don't think its a gd idea to wear tat if u noe you're gonna be eating alot. i personally would wear tat dress right after my gym workout.

Re: wearing figure hugging dresses-pros & cons

I think bodycons are another type of dresses which add to variety, and they often come in pretty prints! But I wont wear it because my flaws would be accentuated
