Weekend Car

Hi SG Club Memebers !

A very good morning to you all !

I am a Singaporean and I am planning to retire soon and reside in JB. I am wondering, if a weekend car is an option for me. I will be spending most of my days in JB and around Malaysia and would hardly come in to Singapore, unless, it is absolutely necessary and than again, it can be done during off peek hours.

As I wil be retired and must be careful with my expenses, do you guys think it is a wise move to own a weekend car just for the purpose of moving around in Malaysia for leasure and to come into Singapore when need be ?

Your advise will be very much appreciated

I Thank you guys in advance, please me a line at jessonedmund@yahoo.com.sg: :l

Hi there, since you will be residing in JB, i would suggest you to buy a car from there as it will cost alot cheaper and you can use it until the car is scape...During weekend you can come back in Singapore if necessary using that car..

Welcome to SGC and enjoy your stay Click here if you are lost~

Re: Weekend Car

it will be better to own car in jb instead, sg car in jb *i guess* will be dangerous?

but if i were not wrong the MY car can't be drive in to SG. you would better to check on this.
a malaysian friend of mine while he was holding employment pass, he said can drive in the MY car but with a flat fee per day (about sgd20++) but he said he no longer can drive in after he obtained his PR.
