Weight Loss Plans

Hi peeps! I'm thinking of losing some pounds in time for my birthday party in a couple of months. I'm not really thaaaat fat, but I hope to fit snugly into a pretty dress I'm eyeing. This is what I'm planning to do to shed some weight:

Dieting
Eat only fruits for lunch
Drink grapefruit juice instead of Coke (I drink Coke almost daily)
Eat nuts and raisins for snacks

Exercise
Jog for 30min every three days
Run on the treadmill for 20min each Sunday

Treatment
Go for slimming sessions (I'm thinking about Marie France Bodyline as I find them pretty professional)
Use slimming creams

So... What do you think about my plans? Any improvements you think I should make?

u cant eat only fruits for lunch/dinner, u must eat a decent meal thats not consist of junk food. But u may cut down on the portion of the food if its too much esp u eat outside.

seems a little extreme, you are still going to have a proper breakfast and dinner right? or you will not get all the nutrients you need.

how about drink water, and lots of it. some people say helps in the complexion as well.

and regarding going to slimming centers, well let's just put it this way, they make money if you keep going.
if they make somebody slim and easy to stay slim after, then they got no more business right?

have a small proper breakfast, then a small snack, light but proper lunch, small snack, light but proper dinner, another small snack..

cut down on the carbs like rice, noodles etc...

Run on the treadmill for 20min each Sundaymake it 60 mins and mixture of cycling and cross trainer but dont over do it, no matter what you need a rest

Treatment

scrapped those ideas, its a waste of $$$$ and most customers rebound back and the customer service, ya very professional cause they want you to spend and spent and spend!

So... What do you think about my plans? Any improvements you think I should make?
I think you need to make amends to your plans and read up more before you start going for a diet.

when I 1st read the plan I was like omg if i followed this I am gonna die of hunger. what cowdung suggest is good!

babe u should google online for some proper diet plan. first of all dieting does not mean u need to go hungry eating only fruits. read up on food with high fiber low calorie which make u feel the fullness without eating alot.

you should eat a balance meal. fruits alone can't provide you energy to work.
can eat less, but need to be at least balance meal.

I think with your diet plan above, you're gonna faint halfway while jogging

Yup, I'm still going to have a proper breakfast and dinner. Eating more veggies and less carbs!

Good info by cowdung. But may I suggest including high-intensity-interval-training, or HIIT in short. A very effective method for fat burn and stamina building, go Google it for more info. Should be done no more than 2 times a week though. Rest is important for muscle recovery. A typical exercise plan can be:
Day 1 - jog
day 2 - weights
day 3 - HIIT
day 4 - rest
day 5 - jog or HIIT
day 6 - weights
day 7 - rest

For diet, a general rule for weight loss is: calories eaten lesser than calories burn. Eat more complex carbs (eg. oatmeal, wholemeal bread, brown rice) instead of simple carbs such as white bread, sugary foods etc. Since you are exercising often, high protein foods are needed such as egg whites, low-fat milk, tuna, chicken (cut away the skin and avoid the deep fried versions). Vegetables and fruits are good and aim for at least one each serving in your lunch/dinner.
I won't recommend fruit juices since those commercial types contains sugar, have little fibre and vitamin content. Instead just eat the fruit whole, I know many people do not like it but really, it is better

For treatment, a waste of money. A good diet and exercise plan is way better than those "slimming" methods out there.

sometimes you can decide on detox programs, as your intestine cloggin up plays a part in healthy weight lost and proper nutrients absorptions thru a detox intestine and getting rid of organ fats.

NEVER go for low-fat milk if youre planning to lose weight .
low fat milk contains milk sugar and sugar is the main culprit for fat gain .
go for full cream milk !

If one really wants to lose weight then proper balanced diet without any oily, spicy & junk food is must & exercise should be regular with walking & jogging. Take fibrous fruits, salad & drink lots of water. Take warm water with lemon early morning empty stomach.

not true for all brands, best is to check the content label on the product itself. Compare the 100 ml chart as serving size might differs, btw skim milk have much lower fat and sugar than other types.

You should eat a stability food. fruit alone can't offer you power to perform.

It looks like you've got yourself a plant. I could use a little slimming down myself. I'm on a water kick right now. Maybe I can cut out sweets, desserts and potatoes for awhile and see if I can lose a little.
