Hi all, i am very keen in doing some online business recently and are doing my homework,,
I know this Q will not get contructive/ good reply as i don think anyone wil want to share their supplier info...
but as a general advise, can i ask how you online business owner get the supplier that you are interested in?
Do you buy the goods and sell, or you do affiliate marketing sales that only if someone order then you order and sell, thus no cost involved to buy tons of stock and keep?
if i am interest in getting some items that i am interested in, any kind soul can enlighten how can i go about it?

thks and look forward to some good response..: | I'm not sure how people who're having traditional shops first get to know their suppliers, but for online guys like me, I rely on search engines.
Alibaba is a good one, btw. Plenty of suppliers all over the world.
Best is to start out at Google searching for stuff like "coat suppliers" or "furniture suppliers". You can also go to the relevant forums elsewhere on the web (not just SgClub) to slowly get to know more contacts worldwide etc.  | |

Can try to type in "sexy lingerie dropship" in Google and you will get to see a list of websites offering dropship for sexy lingerie. Go for the top 3 websites and sign up with them. Dropshipping is a good business opportunity during the financial downturn.

if you have friends who own a shop, you can put their items online. You take the order and collect the money online. Then your friend delivers and bill you.

I do supply assorted tops for only $5 each. You can try with these first then develop further as u gain more experience

for real products, a lot of ppl are sourcing them from countries like china or indonesia and resell them in countries like singapore ...
it's quite a straight forward business plan ... just need to know where is the gap ...
