Why gals usually give constructive advise while guys usually give crap advise?

Why is it that, IN GENERAL, gals usually give constructive advise while guys usually give crap advise?

Let's say you post a topic "How to study?"

Most of the time guys would post useless advise like "burn your notes and drink the ashes"

While gals would usually give good useful constructive advise

Eh, I've read "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" and it says women are creatures that love to share and give advices/suggestions to each other, even tho deep down they knew what actions they're going to take but when they share, its more like pouring out their feelings to feel better dats all. Whereas for men, they rarely give advice coz they are not such creatures. When it comes to problem solving, they prefer to solve it themselves den to ask around for help.

yup I've read that book before! Very meaningful and really gives an insight to the opposite sex. Men hardly open up and ask for advice from other parties - be it guys or girls. Hence when they do, most of their male counterparts take it as a joke perhaps.

Also, I feel girls are more mature-thinking and tend to take things seriously especially if you're asking for proper advices. Guys tend to be a little more playful, more the "talk cock" attitude. Then again, it varies with individuals... some guys could just be as serious when it comes to advising.

Situations matter as well - It depends on how you actually phrase your request for an advice - if you ask it playfully or teasingly you'll get a stupid reply, if you're genuine about it, you'll get a serious response. If it's online, it's even harder to tell if one is sincere about asking for advice.

We do only give stupid answer when there is stupid question ask. Girls are more willing to give the benefit of doubt and advice accordingly.

It's up to individual on how they look at the comment. In your case of burning the book and drink it, you might feel that it's crap when you are in the serious mood. But take another point of view. It's just a joke. Everyone has their own way of looking at comments or things. Some might be common but still got people might differ. So it's not really true that guys always give crappy advice while gals give constructive advice.

But of course, this example only pointing to certain girls and guys, not all.

I don't think so. I think this is a good question too, to help us understand women and men better..

I also wonder why sometimes guys/girls give lame answers while on the other hand, there are actually some guys/girls who do constructive answers.

I think it depends one the mood u r in at that particular moment. If u feel crappy, u will give crap answers, boy AND girl. Sometimes u jusz feel crappy.

If now, like I am now, feel a bit stressed (exam at 5pm later!!) i will give answers like this. Cannot giv crap answers, later exam also giv crap answers, then die liao.
