Why do you like K pop?

Anyone here likes K pop? why do you like it?

I like K pop because most of the singers are tarined before they debut. They tarin in singing, dancing and acting and much more. Thus, there are a lot of artistes that are very skilled in a lot of different areas. Also, K pop allows the singer's personality to shine through and you many of them have very fun personalitites, compare to C pop for example. I think C pop has too many trashy music..some can't sing and they are just tehr cos they are good looking or whatever.

I respect the K pop singers becasue they can sing and dance live all at the same time...whereas C pop singers...haha..i think they lip-synch...

generally i think that K pop offers better music and vocals...but i won't deny taht it can get quite commercialised. they don't have that many writer singers as C pop i think...

I like K, cuz my brother in law is korean. Somemore, their song is perfectly nice, though some I'm not sure what's the song stands for.

Actually there is a korean drama focus on abit of K-pop.
It is call Billy Jean My Love.
I started to lke k-pop because of kdramas.

i like kpop cos' it's relatively more fast paced compared to normal cpop, blahs, and perhaps their music just attracts me, idk it could be the people too! HAHA, i think they dance pretty well.. and definitely, i like trot :x

yeah ditto that's what i meant....

but i wonder if CPop or Jpop has it or not... I mean, as for CPop's rapping, only heard Jay Chou's rapping. and IMO, it's not really rapping like Korean kind... more like "soft" rap to me, i guess cause Jay strings all the words together when he raps. And.... if there's Chinese rapping....... I think it might be really weird?

Since Chinese has 4 tones and it'll be like.. an angmoh speaking Chinese if one raps (inChinese that is)

I like Kpop because i think their lyrics, melody, singers have alot more substance than cpop singer, and i dun like english pop because they always have rubbish lyrics. Or so i thought.

I respect Kpop singers, also because the so called idols, usually have a careless attitude about their idol images.
They are all very sporting as we can see from K-variety shows. They are not afraid to show the not very nic side of them to fans and audience, and thats mainly what i applaud them for.
Like when they cry, get all to8chy and lovey dovey with their members, it doesnt make me feel that they are gay or whatever. It just makes me feel warm, and happy that they care so much for each other.
Between bands too. They show their support for fellow labelmates and stuff. I love it when i know that this certain singer is a fanboy/fangirl of another. How cool.

My first exposure to KPop is very strange.
The first Korean song I heard is Shinhwa's Perfect Man in My MVP Valentine, a Taiwanese idol drama. When I heard the song, I thought it was quite catchy and so I went to searched for the OST and found another Korean singer, BoA. And I became a fan of BoA.
After BoA, I became attracted to KPop and has been keeping track of different Korean singers.

For Kpop songs, the melody is very impt for me. If the melody is nice or catchy, I'll like it Then I will go to YouTube to search for English-subbed version of the MVs to know what the singers are singing about. And I agree that Korean songs' lyrics are quite good.

erm... The 1st korean song im into is the theme song of Winter sonata "i believe' then DBSK, Big Bang, Suju.. Although i don't understand the lyrics but i enjoy listening to it cos of the rhythm and their voice are really great!

Actually before im not really IN to KPOP music.. But when I heard K.Will sing his song Love 119, I realized that maybe I should try to hear some of the Korean music..Then whoallaa!!! i started to like their songs.. Started to like a lot of korean singers and groups like Bigbang, Davichi, SNSD, Wondergirls, DBSK, 2PM, Lee hyori, Kim jong kook, K.Will and many more..

Korean are HARD CORE racist. Dont support them. And rain just SNOB megan fox for an invite to a dinner coz megan fox is an ang moh. Go google it and u ll know how HARD CORE racist are koreans. They think they r the purest breed

I think you got the wrong thread for your comment. If you want to say something about koreans why dont you create your own thread, not destroying other threads.. I know you want to say something about korean but this thread is for korean music not koreans being a racist.. so just create your own thread if you got something to say about them..
