Hi Jumper, Thanks for the feedback for ross reegan the enforcer 2007. Hope others will not be misled into buying it.
Hi Ivan, I did a simple calculation and it's abt 14% compounded return annually. This sounds like a Ponzi scheme to me as I'm sure someone will get burned eventually.
Scenario 3 (company ceased operation) might happen and If I am not wrong we have to pay wine tax before we can even consume the stored wines so we might be stuck with many bottles of wines that we cannot drink.

As i mention, none of investments give guaranteed return. That is the risk you are facing and you got to pay tax to consume the wines as well. But i suggest you sell off rather than consume it, just 1 tip for you, i guess mostly our clients will be laughing if our company operation ceased so that they can trade off the wines on their own.
They will getting more than the returns we offered..

Hi vios21,
I do have pretty good wines for your drinking pleasure. What are your preferences? I may be able to give you some recommendations based on what you like. Cheers

Hi monkeybusiness,
Sorry as I could not reply to your message as the forum doesn't allow me to do so, unless I have more than 15 posts, so I will reply here.
Well, you can say so. My job is not just a broker dealing with wine investments. I also sell wines to my private clients for their drinking pleasure. In fact, we sell wines to anybody, to clients, investors, consumers, wholesale, hotels, restaurants, etc etc....
So am I consider a Wine Broker? Haha..
How about you? A wine investor?

Anyone have done any wine investment before? Are the returns really that good as advertised?
I have been approached by a wine broker before and every now and then, he will send me emails regarding the performance of wine investment around the world. It seems that the returns are very good.
However, I do not have any understanding of wine. For example, I don't even know what vintage or grapes are considered as good investment grade type. Basically speaking, I have absolutely no idea of wine appreciation.
If I were really to proceed to read up and study more about wines (just studying, not investing yet), do you people think that it's a good prospect to read into, in terms or alternative investment options?
Thanks and regards. | there are definitely better investment opportunities around. The best investment is the one that gives cashflow instead of gambling for capital gain. If we had the 'buy low and sell high' mentality, we need to pray very hard that when the time comes for cashing out, the selling price of the investment is higher than the original buying price. Most of the time, we find ourselves in rude shock that we lost the gamble. You can check out this deal @ supergoldendeal.com . It gives you quarterly cashflow and it is renewable quarterly. Good returns with flexibility! At least for once, the investment that allows you to sleep peacefully at night!

We are french students - Bordeaux Management School - working on a company project which consists in opening a store dedicated to wine in Singapour - it would sell bottles, provides lessons, degustation and organise events.
We have to do a market study of our target, that is to say Singapourians.
Thank you for helping Click here to complete the survey |

Personally, I actually prefer the "en Premier" scheme, rather than those that require a holding
period of 3 to 5 years... I guess it's because since this is a new form of investment for me, therefore I am more careful with my investment, rather than to lock up with such a long time frame. | Hi MonekyBusiness,
Tried to send you a PM but unable due to new member status.
Just like to enquire about your wine investment that is supposed to be due in Aug this year, what was the result of the investment if you would like to share with the rest of the forum here.
Regards,
Honda
