If only we can have wireless power, then no need to carry bulky power cables with our laptops anymore and no more tripping over wires all over the place.

do becareful. well think it will cost alot to have wireless power. maybe u should tie up all the wires together so that its neat n more safe to work in this kind of environment.

Hopefully it will exist one day.

Though it is possible to have self-renewal power source but hazardous to human health and environment.

i saw from dunno where that some nokia phones in maybe 5 years down the road, is gonna be able to charge by itself without power source.
As it can charge itself using electric waves all around us.
quite similar to wireless power!

I hope theres something more advanced then BLUETOOTH..

I mean it should be faster with higher frequencies like 10Ghz...
I wonder would it affect our health? I mean these radio frequencies travelling through our body... feels weird right!

since gamma rays/ UV rays with higher frequencies can cause cancers, i think radio waves might be able to after long exposures. Not sure about it. just talking crap. lol

actually it already exist. the philips candle light is using induction to charge the candle. All you need is to put the glass on the dock and it will slowly charge... the key word is slowly. My friend who works in philips said its possible that these auto-charger can automatically detect the voltage in the future to become universal charger.
